Sad Week…

My family suffered a terrible loss this week and it has left most of it reeling. I don;t want to post any details out of respect for others that would like to keep their privacy but the tragedy has given me a whole new perspective and meaning to my day to day living. I am really going to ease my own pain by easing others.
I’m not sure where the saying came from but it goes: “That which does not kill us makes us stronger.” I don’t claim to know your situation but in March 2005 I had my heart ripped out when I lost a beloved brother at the hands of a public school product. Life hasn’t been the same since but I’ve found some peace through my writing and advocating for home education–especially in the unschooling form. We’ve unschooled our two children for 21 years. I’ve been unschooling & deschooling myself since graduating from public school prison in 1972. Love your site. Keep the posts rolling off your finger tips and onto the page and open your heart to let the healing in. Peace!
